Cimbrelo Makes Primary Ballot to Challenge Keating

BARNSTABLE – Democratic Congressman William Keating will face a challenge this year from a member of his own party.

Bill Cimbrelo of Osterville formally entered the race after submitting more than the 2,000 certified signatures required to qualify for the primary ballot.

Cimbrelo, a small business owner and environmental chemist, said he will fight for healthcare as a right, a living minimum wage and getting money out of politics.

The primary is September 4.

Republican Peter Tedeschi is also seeking to unseat Keating.
