HYANNIS – Democrat Socialist Bill Cimbrelo, running against 9th District Congressman Bill Keating in the Democrat primary, has received the endorsement of the Cape Cod branch of the Democratic Socialists of America.
Small business owner Cimbrelo is also an environmental chemist, he says his campaign is gaining momentum.
“It’s the year of the underdog. We’ve seen a nationwide call for Democratic Socialism and for leaders to unapologetically speak truth to power,” Cimbrelo said in a statement.
Cimbrelo and Keating will square off in a primary September 9th.
