Clean Energy Grants Given to Local Communities

MASHPEE – Nearly $9 million dollars in energy grants were recently given to 51 communities in the Commonwealth, including Kingston, Lakeville, Mashpee and Truro.

The Green Communities grants, signed by the Baker administration and two energy state energy departments, will help fund long-term energy costs.

Ventilation system upgrades, high-efficiency lighting, LED streetlights and other projects will benefit from the funding.
