CLI to Launch Leadership Cape Cod Thursday in Harwich

HARWICH – The Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod is broadening its offerings and will relaunch as Leadership Cape Cod Thursday evening.

The organization has worked for nearly three decades to connect current and future leaders for the betterment of the region and will now offer additional programming.

“Strategically the organization is taking a look at what is transpiring on the Cape and we try to look a little bit more at how we can have a greater impact on the Cape and in the future of the region,” said Bob Cody, the organization’s executive director.

Core programing from CLI will remain with the addition of non-profit board training, a program for teachers, and a senior executive roundtable.

“We are going to offer a program for the first time this June for people who are interested in being on non-profit boards,” Cody said. “Basically, it is about roles and responsibilities of being a non-profit board member.”

Cody said they plan to expand that program into a board boot camp in the fall.

“We are really looking at how the organization can have a much greater impact on the Cape and how we can help people achieve their maximum potential as leaders,” Cody said.

The launch event is from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15 at the Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich. Event admission is $30.
