Clydesdales Led Parade in Sandwich

The Budweiser Clydesdales lead the Cavalcade of Cars today.

SANDWICH – The Sandwich 1900 Bash Day Cavalcade of Cars parade has some specials guests Saturday.

The Budweiser Clydesdales were on hand to lead the parade at 11 a.m. this morning from the Henrey T. Wing school through the village.

The parade is part of the towns 1900 Bash Day which runs until 8 p.m.

Visitors can view the classic cars, from each decade of the century, until 4 p.m.

A one woman show that captures what it was like for a woman during World War II whose husband was in the army in Europe will be performed by Judith Black at 4 p.m.

The evening finishes off with a USO Block Party that will close down Jarves Street from Route 6A to Main Street from 5 to 8 p.m.
