Chatham Council on Aging to Host Festival of Lights Luncheon

CHATHAM – On Monday, December 3rd at noon, the Chatham Council on Aging (COA) will host the Festival of Lights Gourmet Luncheon and free presentation.

Join the Council for a delicious lunch of: beef brisket with sour cream and horseradish sauce, classic potato latkes and sautéed greens, with ice cream and cookies for dessert.

Then, attendees will be treated to a Festival of Lights presentation from Chatham’s own Al Drucker, who will present the history and traditions of Hanukkah with the guests.

Tickets for lunch are $7 and the presentation is free. Reservations are required as space is limited and transportation is available.

Since its inception in 1974, the Chatham COA has worked to unify the community in enriching the lives of the over 60 population and those who are caregivers.

The Council offers a wide range of programs and services which are health and wellness oriented and which promote congenial, social and educational opportunities.

They welcome the support of Chatham residents of all ages to promote their mission through community service and resource development.
