EASTHAM – Senior Corps RSVP will be taking part in a COASTSWEEP event to remove debris from Eastham’s First Encounter Beach on October 9.
COASTSWEEP is an international effort from September to November to remove trash and debris from coastal areas.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to join, and attendees will meet at the beach’s parking lot at 10 a.m. Bags, gloves, and tally sheets will be provided. Volunteers are advised to bring their own drinking water.
