MASHPEE – Senior Corps RSVP and the Waquoit Bay Reserve are collaborating to clear debris from South Cape Beach on Wednesday.
Volunteers are welcomed to join.
The effort is a part of the international COASTSWEEP movement. From September to November.
Volunteers of all ages clear trash and debris from areas surrounded by water. Items are categorized and tallied to find the source of the debris.
Bags, gloves, and tally sheets will all be provided. Volunteers should bring their own drinking water. Attendees will be meeting at the beach’s parking lot at 10 a.m.
