COMM Firefighters Deliver Baby in Ambulance

CENTERVILLE  – It was not your average call for Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills firefighters.

Crews were called to the Centerville home of Thiago and Eugenia Manganelli around 11:30 Sunday morning, where Eugenia was in advanced labor. A few minutes later, Baby Clara was born, in the back of a COMM ambulance on Old Stage Road, on the way to Cape Cod Hospital.

Mom and baby are doing well.

This was the second baby delivered by COMM firefighters in the last two years.
