Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance to Host Annual Meeting

CHATHAM – The Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance will host its annual meeting later this month.

The March 28 event will include a recap of 2018 accomplishments and goals for 2019, along with management reports and board elections.

Scientist Chris Clark, who helped develop and apply advanced acoustic technology to record and analyze the sounds of wildlife, will give the keynote address.

Clark’s work advances the understanding of animal communication and the health of wildlife populations. He has listened to and studied whales for over 40 years, including the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale.

The meeting is at Fishermen’s Alliance at 1566 Main Street in Chatham at 5 p.m.
