Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod Accepting Donations for Stuff a Stocking Program

boysgirlsclublogoHYANNIS – The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod is running their 5th annual Stuff A Stocking program until Tuesday.

The bank is collecting toys and other items for the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod.

Oversized stockings are located inside each bank’s branch location as well as the Operations Center in Hyannis.

Unwrapped items can be dropped into the giant stockings and cash and check donations can be given to the tellers in each branch.

“Our customers never disappoint us, we started this five years ago and they stepped right up to the plate,” said Cooperative Bank Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer John Fulone. “You don’t have to be a customer to donate but certainly our customers are first and foremost in helping us out and making sure that the kids are taken care of this time of the year.”

The new and unwrapped items will be delivered to the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod on Wednesday.

Items on the holiday wish this year include toys and games, gift cards, art supplies and basketballs and footballs.

“The Cape is very unique when it comes to philanthropy and reaching out and taking care of people in the community and the community just steps up during this time of year and we expect the fifth year will be just as good as the first four,” said Fulone.
