Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod Donates $3500 to Harwich Ecumenical Council on Housing

HARWICH – The Harwich Ecumenical Council on Housing has received a $3500 donation from the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod in support of their ‘Children’s Center’.

The center serves as an accessible, affordable daycare that also provides early education classes for low-moderate income families here on Cape.

The donation was part of The COOP’s ‘Community Reinvestment Act Commitment’.

Established in 1921 The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod serves as an independent, local, mutual community bank with over $900 million in assets and over 170 employees, committed to investing in the Cape Cod community.

The mission of the Harwich Ecumenical Council for Housing is to develop compassionate solutions to homelessness problems for families – especially those with children – living in Harwich and the surrounding communities of Cape Cod.
