Cotuit Center for the Arts Announces 2019 Season

COTUIT – After the successful 2018 season finale production of “Mary Poppins,” Cotuit Center for the Arts has announced its new season of programming and fundraising.

The new season focuses on dreaming, planning, imagining and amplifying the visual, performing and literary art forms through theater, music, exhibition, education, and collaborative offerings.

In 2019 the center will once again offer something for everyone.

There will be seven Mainstage theatrical productions, including “Of Mice and Men,” the world premiere of “A Talented Woman,” “The Odd Couple,” “Much Ado About Nothing,” “Sweet Charity,” “Sweeny Todd,” and “White Christmas.”

Concerts and special events include a third collaboration with the Cape Symphony: “The Wizard of Oz in Concert.”

There will also be several co-productions with Payomet Performing Arts Center including “An Evening with Judy Collins,” along with perennial favorites like “The Provincetown Jazz Festival” and “Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival.”

For two weeks in August the center will feature “We Are the Champions,” an original tribute to Queen.
