Cotuit Center for the Arts Hosts Annual Exhibit

Cotuit Center for the ArtsCOTUIT – The Cotuit Center for the Arts is hosting its Annual Member, Student, Faculty Exhibition on November 26 through December 30.

The opening reception is on December 3 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Officials with the Center said that the annual exhibit celebrates their creative and supportive membership and is a thank you to the artistic community.

All media will be represented at the event, including works made in the Center’s classes and workshops by children and adults, art by teachers, and by members.

Drop-off day is November 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and only one submission can be made per person.

Two and three dimensional art is welcome and there is no size limitation and no submission fee.

The Cotuit Center for the Arts is located on Rt. 28 in Cotuit and the gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and during events at the center.

Since opening a new facility in May of 2004, the Cotuit Center for the Arts has produced or presented over 50 art exhibitions featuring over 500 visual artists, more than 40 concerts, and 20 full length theatrical productions.

Additionally, the Cotuit Center for the Arts has been offering year-round classes and workshops in the visual and performing arts through the years.
