Cotuit Center for the Arts’ Refurbished Schoolhouse Building

COTUIT – The Cotuit Center for the Arts has announced the opening of their newly refurbished “Schoolhouse” building that will now serve as the headquarters for the Cape Cod Collaborative Arts Network.

The building will now house two classrooms offering space for printmaking, photography, writing, along with a gallery space, and offices.

CapeCodCAN, a stand-alone, self-sustaining program of Cotuit Center for the Arts, provides opportunities for inclusion and active participation in the arts for people with disabilities.

Over the past six years CapeCodCAN programs has provided hundreds the opportunity to directly participate in the arts and have given large audiences a better understanding, and real appreciation, for the artistic potential of people with disabilities.

Upcoming classes include an intro to Monoprinting with master printer Alice Galick, and an intro to Photoshop, with award-winning fine art photographer Bob Singer.
