Cotuit Center for the Arts Teams with Brave Horse Music

COTUIT – Brave Horse Music has partnered with the Cotuit Center for the Arts to bring originally arranged musical revues that have premiered at Cotuit to a wider audience.

This partnership, called Cotuit on the Road, pairs an entertainment firm with a nonprofit arts and culture organizations to offer audiences an innovative and entrepreneurial approach to entertainment, according to the partners.

The Kami Lyle Sit-A-While…real songs, real writers, fake fireplace concert series made its internet livestream debut on July 12 at Cotuit with guest singer-songwriters Bonnie Hayes and Kimon Kirk.

This show continues as a monthly series starting in 2016, with WMVY joining to broadcast the show.

Future guests include songwriting greats like Steve Earle, John Sebastian, Paula Cole, Mark Erelli, Jennifer Kimball and M. Ward.

The partners are now collaborating with the Dan’l Webster Inn in Sandwich to premiere an abbreviated version of their newest show as an upscale dinner theater experience.

A preview of this new show, Pretty World: Songs from the Fab Ladies of the 60s opens on August 13 in The Conservatory at the Dan’l Webster Inn.

Tickets are $65 per person for the dinner and show.
