COTUIT – Get ready to release your inner Pisano as the Cotuit Center for the Arts will host certified language instructor, Marilyn Rossi, to teach both Art History and Italian this September through November.
Rossi is well known for her experience as a foreign-language educator, translator, art historian, and museum tour guide.
She was awarded both a Fulbright Scholarship and a Rockefeller Fellowship to study Italian in Umbria, and received the Grinspoon Foundation Teacher Award for excellence in teaching.
During her time on Cape Cod, Rossi will teach ‘Art History with Marily’ featuring the examination of works created by familiar artists such as Michelangelo and other Renaissance Masters, along with Western art.
Also being offered during her stay will be ‘Italian for Adult Beginners,’ where speakers of all abilities can learn the ancient romance language in a small-classroom setting.
