COTUIT – Cotuit Center for the Arts will be ringing in the New Year a little early with some rock & roll and dancing.

The Rip-It-Ups will take to the stage at the center on Friday, December 30 at 7:30 p.m.

The group who is known for their orginial, energetic and creative sound will play rock & roll, blues, rockabilly, country, ballads, jazz and soul.

The Rip-It-Ups play original songs and covers and have been a fixture on Cape Cod for the last decade. They play regularly at the Wellfleet Oyster House, the Wellfleet Beachcomber, the Barley Neck Inn in Orleans and the Roobar in Chatham.

Cotuit Center for the Arts Executive Director David Kuehn says they are excited to present the Rip-It-Ups on their own as they have been wowing Entertainment Tonight fundraiser audiences for years.

Kuehn says the show will feature a large dance floor and will end the center’s 2016 season in high style.

Tickets are $30, $28 for seniors and veterans and $25 for members. Premium tables with wine are also available.
