COTUIT – The 26th edition of the Woods Hole Film Festival presented several independent films from emerging filmmakers for 8 days in July and August – and now residents and visitors will get a second chance to see the ‘Best of the Fest.’
The Cotuit Center for the Arts presents “The Best of the Woods Hole Film Festival 2017” on three consecutive Sundays in October in the main performance space at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $14 for each screening, $25 for two or $30 for all three.
The first screening of “Quaker Oaths” is October 8.
The feature comedy by Louisiana Kreutz won the Audience Award for Best Comedy Feature at the festival.
Best of Shorts on October 15 will include nine award-winning short films. The screening includes “Stars,” which was the Audience Award winner for Best Short animation, the documentary “Promise,” which won the Jury Award for Best Short Drama, and “Game,” the Audience Award winner for Best Short Animation.
The Phillip Baribeau documentary “Charged: The Eduardo Garcia Story” will be shown October 22. The film won the Best of the Festival Audience Award.
