Cotuit Kettleers to Celebrate Life of ‘Mr. Kettleer’

COTUIT – The Cotuit Kettleers will hold a special event Saturday morning at Lowell Park.

The team will celebrate the life and legacy of Arnold Mycock, who died in April.

Mycock, also known as “Mr. Kettleer,” served the Kettleers for 67 years including 44 as general manager. He also served as treasure, secretary, host parent, and was a jack-of-all-trades for the team.

He also held positions with the Cape Cod Baseball League including vice president, treasurer, scheduler and statistician.

The celebration at 11 a.m. will honor Mycock for his accomplishments and contributions.
