BARNSTABLE – A number of items will be considered by the Barnstable Town Council at their meeting Thursday night.

Multiple funding requests will be considered, including $15,000 for repairs for the boardwalk at Bismore Park and an allocation of $85,000 in Community Preservation Act funding for the preservation of the Olde Colonial Courthouse on Route 6A.

Councilors will also vote on the acceptance of a $24,850 grant for design plans for a new dog park.

A vote is expected on a proposed ordinance that would reduce the size of the Council on Aging.

Councilors will also take up the matter of a Tax Incentive Finance agreement with the new Fairfield Inn and Suites, which is under construction on Route 132.
