County Commissioner Candidate Bond Endorsed by Bristol State Rep

SOUTH YARMOUTH – The State Representative from the 3^rd Bristol District has endorsed a republican candidate for Barnstable County Commissioner.

Linda Bond’s campaign has received the support of State Rep Shaunna O’Connell.

O’Connell said Bond “understands that Cape Cod is a very diversified entity and she understands that local management needs to remain local and cannot be moved to Boston.”

Bond joins fellow Republican Ron Beaty, Democrat Mark Forest and current Commissioner Mary Pat Flynn, a Democrat, in the running.

Joe Glynn, who had announced a run for county commissioner, said he will no longer seek one of the positions.

Commissioner Sheila Lyons is not running for re-election as she is campaigning for the Cape and Islands State Senate seat.
