Court Orders Falmouth Man to be Held Without Bail

FALMOUTH- Robert Green, a 35-year-old Falmouth man who conducted a series of alleged assaults including stomping on a man’s head and shooting a bow and arrow at another, was deemed dangerous to the community and is being held without bail.

Falmouth District Court made the decision on Thursday, days after placing $15,000 bail on Green for charges that include Armed Assault to Murder, Larceny and Assault and Battery.

Police say on August 21, Green assaulted a 29-year-0ld man at the Walmart in Falmouth, knocking him out and stomping on his head.

Nearly a couple hours later, two females who had been with Green, engaged in a fight with one of the females being stabbed in the back and transported to a Boston area hospital with serious injuries.

Later, police were called to a residence on Homestead Lane where they learned Green had shot a Bow and Arrow at an East Falmouth man, nearly missing him, and fled the residence.

Police eventually were called back to the Homestead Lane residence, when Green began smashing windows in the home.

Green allegedly also assaulted another man.

He was placed under arrest and charged.

Green is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on September 18.
