SOUTH YARMOUTH – CVS has expanded its free drive-thru COVID-19 testing sites on the Cape to include their South Yarmouth location.
It’s the second CVS location to offer the testing on the Cape, as their East Falmouth site started conducting the tests recently.
CVS has now established COVID-19 testing at more than 2,000 sites in 33 states.
Those interested in a COVID test are asked to register in advance on CVS.com to schedule an appointment for a test.
The test is available at no-cost for people with and without health insurance coverage.
Those registered will have their tests administered while they remain in their vehicle at the CVS Pharmacy drive-thru window.
The specimens are then submitted to an independent, third-party lab to be processed.
