Cyr Gets Scientists’ Endorsement

Julian Cyr

TRURO – State Senator Julian Cyr has received the endorsement of the Massachusetts Association of State Engineers and Scientists in his bid for re-election.

“We are proud to stand with Senator Cyr as he continues to fight for working families, to stand up for progressive causes, and to advocate for the protection of our precious natural resources,” said Joseph Dorant, president of MOSES. “He has been a leader in supporting state workers, from protecting strong collective bargaining rights for public employees to advocating for an adequate budget for our environmental agencies.”

“I am proud to have the support of the scientists and engineers who work every day to protect our fragile coastal environment,” said Senator Cyr. “On Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket, we rely on MOSES members to prevent and mitigate pollution to protect our waters.”

Dorant continued: “We know that Senator Cyr will continue to advocate for policies that protect dedicated state employees and stand up for the issues important to MOSES members and all workers on the Cape & Islands.”

Cyr continued: “I look forward to continuing to work in partnership with MOSES to protect our environment and make Cape Cod & the Islands a better place to live and work.”

The organization represents over 3,00 employees of the Commonwealth spanning 30 state agencies.
