Cyr, Lyons, Taking Part in State Senate Debate Tonight

YARMOUTH – With just two weeks to go before the state primary, Cape and Islands State Senate candidates Julian Cyr and Shelia Lyons will meet in a Democratic party debate Wednesday night.

Cyr and Lyons discuss a variety of topics at the event, which begins at Yarmouth Town Hall at 6:30 p.m.

The debate is being organized by the League of Women Voters, the Yarmouth Democratic Town Committee, and the Cape and Islands Democratic Council.

Anthony Schiavi and Jim Crocker are seeking the Republican nomination.

State Senator Dan Wolf (D-Harwich) is not seeking re-election.

The state primary is Thursday, September 8.
