HYANNIS – The John K. and Thirza F. Davenport Foundation for the Arts are now accepting applications for grant-scholarships for Barnstable County residents who are in their last two years of undergraduate study or, graduate work in the visual and performing arts.
All scholarships will be based on need, ability, grades and proven desire in the field of endeavor, be it theatre, music or art.
Scholarships are granted on a year to year basis, without commitments for continuous funding. Primary funding comes from family members, the Davenport Realty Trust and private gifts.
Scholarship recipients are encouraged to return to the Foundation the amounts they were awarded, when reasonably possible, in order to expand its assistance to others in need of scholarship aid.

Applications must be submitted by July 16th, 2018
