FALMOUTH – Drivers should expect delays on a busy section of Route 28 Tuesday due to underground utility construction.
The work is taking place on Palmer Avenue between the start and end of the divided section of 28 and the Jones Road intersection.
Falmouth police report that the road will not be closed completely, but advise drivers to seek an alternate route or expect delays.
Construction is scheduled to last until 5 p.m. and is not expected to continue beyond Tuesday.
