CHATHAM – One of the Democrats looking to challenge Gov. Charlie Baker in November will be on Cape Cod next weekend.
Bob Massie will appear at the Chatham Community Center on April 28 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. to hear from residents in an informal setting.
Massie is expected to address the goals for his campaign and will discuss economic, environmental, racial, and gender issues.
The event is being sponsored by Lower Cape Indivisible, a volunteer group pursuing social, economic, and environmental justice.
The meet and greet is free and open to the public.
Massie is one of three Democrats, along with Setti Warren and Jay Gonzalez, seeking their party’s nomination for the corner office.
All three candidates took part in two debates on Cape Cod in recent weeks, one at Monomoy Regional High School and the other at the Falmouth Public Library.
