Dennis Democratic Town Committee Hosts Meeting Focused on Cape Cod Hunger

DENNIS – The Dennis Democratic Town Committee is inviting members of the community to learn about hunger on Cape Cod with Christine Menard, Executive Director of the Family Food Pantry of Cape Cod.

The free event will take place tomorrow at 7:00 PM, in the Dennis Police Department Community Room. Attendees are asked to bring a contribution with them to be donated to the pantry.

Tuna fish, peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, hearty soups with beef or chicken, any other item which includes protein are all requested, as are soap, toothpaste, and diapers.

Tomorrow’s meeting will also include a representative from Cape Cod Grandmothers Against Gun Violence, a group based on Cape Cod with the goal of raising awareness about gun violence.
