Dennis Joins National Campaign to Stop Drunk Driving

DENNIS – Dennis police are participating in the national “Drive Sober, or Get Pulled Over” campaign.

The effort is underway across the country to stop drunk driving, as statistics show that instances of impaired driving increase around the holiday season.

From now until New Year’s, additional police patrols and sobriety checkpoints will be in place in Dennis and nearly 200 other communities across Massachusetts.

Funding for the program comes from a federal grant.
