DENNIS – Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands is back for a fifth annual Senior Environment Corps 2019 Free Winter Education Series.
The series begins in January and runs through March with three speaker presentations and three documentary films.
The series covers environmental topics crucial and close to Cape Cod.
On January 10, the program will host Coastal Erosion on Cape Cod with Greg Berman from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Falmouth Public Library. Berman is a Coastal Processes Specialist for the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension & Woods Hole Sea Grant.
Buried in Plastic with Director of CARE for Cape & Islands Jill Talladay is scheduled for February 21 at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The final speaker presentation is set for March 13 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Brewster Ladies’ Library, where Joe Dwelly of the Massachusetts Butterfly Club will discuss Cape Cod Pollinators.
