Dennis Town Officials Hosting Affordable Housing Forums at Senior Center

DENNIS – The Dennis Board of Selectmen have partnered with the Dennis Municipal Affordable Housing Trust to host a series of educational and discussion sessions focused on affordable housing.

Cape Cod has been faced with the issue of finding accessible and affordable housing for everyone in past years.

The series will provide information from professionals in the housing field as well as a forum for public discussion.

“Over 50-percent of our housing stock has been purchased by second homeowners and this number is increasing,” said Dennis Selectman Bob Mezzadri.

“Come and learn about housing trends in Dennis and what we as a community can do to keep Cape residents on the Cape.”

There a three total sessions being offered, each running from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Dennis Senior Center. They are set for November 15, December 6, and January 10.
