DENNIS – Dennis voters will decide two contested races today when they head to the polls for town election.
For the Board of Selectmen, incumbents Sheryl McMahon and Paul McCormick are being challenged by Robert Surrette for two available three-year terms.
Former State Representative Cleon Turner is the only candidate for an open two-year term on the board. The vacancy comes as Alan Tuttle plans to resign from his position.
In a race for the Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School Committee, incumbent Maryellen McDonagh-Angelone is facing a challenge from Jeni Landers.
A question regarding funding for a new multi-purpose community and senior center appears on the ballot, however the plan was rejected by voters at Town Meeting.
