Cape Downwinders Member to Address Harwich Democrats

HARWICH – The Harwich Democratic Town Committee is holding it’s next monthly meeting on Saturday, April 6 and will hear from an opponent of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant in Plymouth.

There will be a presentation by Diane Turco regarding the Cape Downwinders – a citizens’ action group involved in the fight to protect the environment from the threats posed by nuclear power.

There will also be a review of some of the Harwich town meeting warrant articles to be voted on in May.

The meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Harwich Community Center on Oak Street.

The Harwich Democratic Town committee meets on the first Saturday of each month at the Harwich Community Center.
