Disaster Animal Response Team to Hold Annual Meeting

BARNSTABLE – An all-volunteer, non-profit group that organizes temporary animal shelters during emergencies will hold its annual meeting Sunday.

The Cape Cod Disaster Animal Response Team will meet from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Wildlife Center on Main Street in Barnstable.

Anyone 18 or older is welcome to attend.

The organization recruits and trains volunteers to provide animal care in shelters, maintains animal identification and care records and reunites animals with their owners.
