BREWSTER- Millstone Road in Brewster was closed for two hours today after an accident involving a bicyclist and a pickup truck occurred around 8:20 a.m.
Brewster police say a 58-year-0ld Eastham man was riding his bike on the rail trail when he failed to stop at the Millstone Road intersection and collided with a pickup truck.
Brewster police and fire responded to the scene and the bicyclist was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck and the bicyclist were not identified.
The Barnstable County Sheriff’s department assisted Brewster police in the investigation at the scene.
