Eastham Voters to Consider Temporary Ban on Pot Shops

EASTHAM – Residents in Eastham will be the latest on Cape Cod to head to a town meeting Monday night.

Voters will weigh a temporary moratorium on recreational marijuana shops. The ban would last until the end of 2018.

The town is also asking for an additional $366,000 from taxpayers to hire four additional firefighters.

Town meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Nauset Regional High School. There are five total articles on the warrant.
