Falmouth Brothers Held Without Bail After Dangerousness Hearing

fa062415smallFALMOUTH – A Falmouth District Court judge has determined that two brothers accused of attempting to abduct a child are a danger to the community.

As a result of a dangerousness hearing yesterday, Judge Michael Creedon ordered Dennis and Bruce Barlett to be held without bail.

The two were arrested last month after a middle school student said two men in a white van tried to lure her away from a school bus stop on the last day of school.

Later that afternoon, Falmouth Police arrested Dennis and Bruce Bartlett at their apartment on Palmer Avenue.

A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for the Bartletts on July 31.
