Falmouth Group Makes Donation to Morse Pond

FALMOUTH -A group of Falmouth families, who came together in opposition to a proposed needle exchange program in town, has made a donation of funds they raised for the effort to the Morse Pond PTO.

The effort to prevent the exchange was successful, so the money raised through a GoFund me page was donated to the Morse Pond group.

The $1,500 dollars donated by Falmouth Families, Community and Safety First, will be used to create an outdoor classroom for the students of Morse Pond.

The needle exchange, planned in the neighborhood of St. Anthony’s Church in Falmouth, was scrapped in the face of significant opposition. The group supporting the plan has said they will look for another location in Falmouth.
