FOXBORO – Two local High School football teams will try to bring state championships back to the Cape this weekend.
The 10-1 Mashpee Falcons go for their second straight state championship when they play Western Mass winner Wahconah in the Division 4 Super Bowl at 1:30 p.m. The Falcons won the Division 6 Super Bowl last year before being moved to Division 4 this year. Wahconah lost a Super Bowl game two years ago to Holliston.
Undefeated Falmouth plays Marblehead in the Division 2A Super Bowl. That game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. following the Mashpee-Wahconah contest.
All games will be played at Foxboro’s Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots.
