FALMOUTH- When you are a small child, there is probably only one thing better than getting a teddy bear from a loved one, making one yourself.
Children will get to do just that and more, during this year’s ‘Teddy Bear Picnic’ hosted by Falmouth Museums on The Green, and the Falmouth Historical Society.
The morning will start off with a hands-on build-a-bear activity. Once bears are properly stuffed, dressed, and named, children can introduce them to their parents, and grandparents at a special picnic, before taking them home.
The event, which will take place on July 13th, from 10am-12 noon is designed for children ages under 12, who must be accompanied by an adult.
The cost for each child is $15 and pre-registration is required. For more information and how to register, you can visit museumsonthegreen.org or call 508-548-4857, ext. 10.
The Museums on the Green campus is located at 55 and 65 Palmer Avenue in Falmouth.
The Falmouth Historical Society’s mission is to preserve, share, and celebrate the history and culture of Falmouth through its archives, exhibitions, educational programs and community events.
