FALMOUTH – The Falmouth School Committee will interview the three finalists for the soon-to-be open superintendent’s job at a public session Thursday.
The candidates for the post are Lori Duerr, the assistant superintendent in New Castle, Delaware, Nadine Ekstrom, the former superintendent in the Berlin-Boylston school district, and Kerri Anne Quinlan-Zhou, an assistant superintendent at Dighton-Rehoboth.
In total, 28 people applied for the position.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. at the Falmouth School Administration Building on Route 28.
The School Committee will likely make their decision at their meeting next Tuesday.
Current superintendent Nancy Taylor has announced plans to retire at the end of the school year. She has held the job since 2015 and has worked in the Falmouth school system since 1993.
