Falmouth to Hold Community Engagement Forums in 2018

FALMOUTH – Selectmen in Falmouth are planning two forums next year to increase community engagement.

The first,  which will resemble a live survey, will be held in early February to help town officials understand what areas residents see as priorities.

Selectmen chairman Susan Moran is also proposing a Valentine party with town staff and committee members to supplement the first forum.

“The event would be set up like an open house at Town Hall and folks could kind of set up vendor tables and give information about what their particular department or committee does and how they can work with other committees and departments,” Moran said.

A second community forum would then be held during the summer to gather input from residents not here during the winter.
