Family Pantry Kicks Off 2018 Toy Drive

HARWICH – The Family Pantry of Cape Cod’s annual Toy Drive has kicked off, with the organization now accepting toys now through December 8^th.

There are a number of ways to contribute to the cause, including bringing new, unwrapped toys to one of several drop-off locations around the Cape or by making an online financial donation at www.thefamilypantry.com.

This year the pantry is introducing text donations as well. Text “PANTRY” to 80100 to donate $10 to the food and holiday programs.  Text “HUNGER” to 80100 to donate $25 providing to the food and holiday programs.

In order to receive the presents, families must be registered with the Pantry, and children must be under 15 years old, registration is due by December 8^th.

Last year the Pantry helped 1,100 children. Registered kids will each receive a bag containing puzzels, games and new clothing. Older children will receive a gift card.
