Final Weekend for Scrooge at Cotuit Center for the Arts

Peter Cook at Ebenezer Scrooge

COTUIT – Time is running out to catch a stage production of a classic Christmas story, and an opportunity to shake off the bah humbugs.

It’s Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, and it’s running through Sunday, December 18 at the Cotuit Center for the Arts.

This charming adaptation of the immortal story is by renowned writer, composer and lyricist Leslie Bricusse, and closely adapted from the 1970 musical film Scrooge, which earned Bricusse an Oscar nomination for his score.

All the favorite characters will be there—Bob Cratchit, Jacob Marley, the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, and of course, Ebenezer Scrooge himself.

The Saturday show begin at 7:30 p.m., while the Sunday finale show will be at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $30, $25 for members, $27 for seniors and veterans, and $15 for students.
