MASHPEE – A Mashpee firefighter was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a fire broke out on Shipwreck Drive this morning.
The call came in around 11:15 after a neighbor reported the fire.
The house was extensively damaged but nobody was home at the time. Three people were displaced as a result of the blaze.
Mashpee firefighters were assisted by crews from Cotuit Fire Department and Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department.
The fire is under investigation.
