Firefighters Deliver Baby Overnight in Osterville

COMMOSTERVILLE – An Osterville mother and her newborn baby girl are okay this morning, thanks to firefighters and paramedics from the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills fire department.

Crews were called to an Osterville home at 3:50 am, arriving on scene four minutes later and assisting with the delivery just three minutes after that.

Both mother and child are in stable condition and were taken to Cape Cod Hospital.

Lt. James Gardner, firefighter Rich Sahl, and firefighter Patrick Cox responded to the call.
