First Parish Brewster Festival Next Month

brewster01BREWSTER – First Parish Brewster is presenting “The Best of All Fest of Fall Festival” next month.

The festival was formally known as the Sea Captains Fair and is the Parish’s largest fundraiser.

For 38 years the Parish has held the fair and this year, they have decided to add more activities, while still honoring their history and embracing the future.

Attendees can look forward to many of the things that they have loved about the Sea Captains Fair – the baked goods, lobster rolls and chowder at their café, yard sale, silent auction and more.

This year’s fest falls on United Nations Day, so the front lawn will feature flags from around the world.

The festival itself will feature new events, games and excitement.

That includes “Frozen” characters Elsa and Anna on hand to greet and take pictures with the public, a brick oven pizza food truck, a wellie toss, a cake walk, a pet show and cookie stroll.

There will be international crafts for sale and Henna tattoos available for the public.

Kids will also be busy with activities like a bouncy house, pony rides and more.

The event takes place on Saturday, October 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1969 Main Street in Brewster.
