PROVINCETOWN – State Police were called to Provincetown Harbor this morning after a human body was believed to have been pulled from the waters.

The fishing boat “Hera” was working in the waters off Provincetown when they reported to the Coast Guard that they pulled up what they believed was a human body in their nets around 4:35 a.m.

The boat returned to the Harbor around 9 a.m. and State Police Troopers met with the workers.

State Police say that they are not sure if it is a body but are directing all information to the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s Office.
